The program includes special sightseeing tours, comfortable transfers, and carefully selected hotel accommodations with breakfast, offering an experience that combines culture, history, and natural beauty.
01: London (Monday/Thursday)
Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! We will transfer you to your hotel, and you will have some free time. In the afternoon, you will find information about the start time of your tour on the boards at the hotel reception.
02: London (Tuesday/Friday)
In the morning, we'll embark on a panoramic tour of London, including its most famous landmarks such as Westminster, the Houses of Parliament, the City, and the River Thames. The afternoon will be free, with the option of an excursion to the Thames Valley, including a visit to Windsor, crowned by the iconic Windsor Castle, one of Britain's most magnificent historical castles. In the evening, we'll meet at Piccadilly Circus for an evening stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, known for its vibrant atmosphere, theaters, and diverse entertainment venues. (In some cases, this evening program may be arranged on the day of arrival in London instead of this day.)
After the tour is over, return to the hotel by bus.
03: London (Wednesday/Saturday)
A free day to explore. A day to enjoy the moment, discover new landscapes, and let each corner reveal its own story and beauty in peace.
04: London – Cambridge – York – Durham (Thursday/Sunday)
We'll begin our day by leaving London and heading north. Our first stop will be Cambridge, where we'll enjoy exploring its beautiful and prestigious colleges, each with its own distinct academic character. After lunch, we'll continue to York, where its majestic cathedral, Roman walls, and vibrant shopping streets will leave a lasting impression. You'll have free time to explore the city and soak up its historic atmosphere. Next, we'll travel north to Durham, a vibrant medieval city with a magnificent cathedral located directly opposite the castle, a scene that blends tradition and beauty.
05: Durham - Alnwick - Edinburgh (Friday/Monday)
Our journey to Scotland begins with a stop in Alnwick, a picturesque town renowned for its beautiful gardens and its impressive medieval castle, featured in the Harry Potter films. From there, we continue to Edinburgh, arriving around midday. Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland and one of the most vibrant cities in Northern Europe, boasts a historic and architecturally stunning center that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perched atop a hill overlooking the city's sloping streets and beautiful gardens, Edinburgh Castle offers a majestic vista that reflects the city's rich history. We will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city with a local guide, exploring its highlights and history.
06: Edinburgh – Inverness – Loch Ness – Fort Augustus – Glasgow (Saturday/Tuesday)
Today, we embark on an exciting journey through the Scottish Highlands, beginning with a coffee and stroll in the charming village of Pitlochry, known for its peaceful atmosphere and traditional character. Next, we travel through Inverness in northern Scotland, near the mysterious Loch Ness. We then visit Urquhart Castle, where admission is included, and from there, we take a boat tour on the murky waters of Loch Ness. Our journey continues past Fort Augustus, famous for its lock system on the Caledonian Canal, and then to Fort William, a tourist center situated at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the United Kingdom. As we head south, we cross the high plateaus where snow is often visible, and travel along the scenic shores of Loch Lomond. We arrive in Glasgow at the end of the day.
Important note:
Groups arriving in Edinburgh from November 15 until the end of February will follow a modified program, due to the shorter daylight hours and frequent snowfall on the roads during this period.
8:00 AM – Departure from Edinburgh for Pitlochry (9:45 – 11:15), a picturesque town in the heart of Scotland, famous for its whisky production. We will visit a traditional whisky distillery, admission included. Next, we continue to Stirling (12:30 – 15:30), a city with a fascinating historic center, dominated by the imposing Stirling Castle (admission included). One of Scotland's most important castles, it has witnessed many significant historical events, including major battles and the coronation of several kings. After lunch, we will stop for photos at The Kelpies, the colossal statues of two horse heads inspired by Scottish mythology. Finally, we continue to Glasgow, arriving around 5:00 PM, with free time to explore the city center and soak up the atmosphere.
07: Glasgow - Lichfield - London (Sunday/Wednesday)
We will depart early in the morning, heading towards southern Scotland and England. Along the way, we will enjoy verdant landscapes and charming villages, lending the journey a peaceful, rural feel. We will stop in Lichfield for a stroll and lunch in this picturesque little town, famous for its three-towered cathedral. Its historic center boasts cobblestone streets and ancient buildings that showcase a unique architectural charm. Afterward, we will continue our journey to London, arriving in the late afternoon. Note: If passenger numbers are limited at this stage, the journey may be made by train or plane, in which case the stop in Lichfield will be cancelled.
