Today we begin with a panoramic tour of Warsaw with a local guide. Home to nearly two million people, this city is the political and economic center of Poland, blending modern architecture with carefully restored historic buildings. We'll wander through the charming Old Town, with its many ancient buildings, the Royal Palace, and cobblestone streets, all restored after the devastation of World War II and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll also visit the Palace of Culture, a skyscraper gifted to us by the Soviet Union, and explore the history of what was once Europe's largest Jewish ghetto. We'll also stroll through Łazienki Park, home to the Chopin statue. The afternoon will be free to visit museums, such as the National Museum and the Museum of the Warsaw Uprising, or to explore the vibrant city center, full of shops and activities.
Note : Depending on the number of travelers, the city tour may be conducted using a standard tour service.
Day 3: Saturday - Warsaw - Wroclaw
We'll depart early for Wrocław, a 10th-century city and the capital of Lower Silesia, where Polish, Czech, Austrian, and German influences intertwine. The historic center, beautifully rebuilt after World War II, boasts one of the most picturesque squares in Poland. The city is also renowned for its numerous bridges and canals, giving it a unique charm. In the afternoon, the tour will include a boat trip along the picturesque canals. Afterwards, you'll have free time to explore the city at your leisure.
